Draft 2

In this assignment I chose to focus on not just making my characters interact with real-world objects, but i tried to make a story as well by choosing a background.  This allows for more options to photograph.  However I think I prefer to make the toys interact with the actual world.

  1. There are two things I instantly noticed when looking at this set. First, I liked how the black and white works in this set (the color photos aren't as sharp). Second, your photos are becoming increasingly creative. The only photo I don't necessarily enjoy is the first. It didn't like it because it contradicted your style. From what I can see, your style is making the miniatures seem bigger by bringing the camera closer to the miniatures and having real background objects be their scale size. In the first shot, the miniatures are too small and the photo was shot too far out making it their small size too obvious. I really am enjoying your style though (the rest of your photos are awesome). Keep up the good work

  2. Another fun series, I like your photo with the people photographing the cheese. It's a pretty funny photo and fits well in your collection.
