DESIGN

In this assignment we had to design the covers to theoretical books, movies, or magazines.  This assignment was very fun and creative, and showed how different form of media use different stlyes for their covers.

In this assignment we did the same thing as last time, although we focused more on making people appear to be levitating.  This assignment was pretty hard since you had to take your shot at the perfect moment while the other person had to to a good jump.

Motion picture

In this assignment we had to make the subjects of our photos appear to be in motion by using different shutter speeds.  By moving the camera and setting a reasonably low shutter speed, ordinary objects could appear to  be moving.

Silhouettes

In this assignment we had to make the subject of our photo framed in front of the sky or a bright light, creating a silhouette.  It was kind of hard to make decent silhouettes since the sun was covered by fog for quite a while.

final draft

This is the final draft of our artist project.  I incorporated the styles of mainly Eugene Atget, but of Nathan Lyons as well.
