Spring series 2

In this set I tried to incorporate elements from other people work, such as reflection and leading lines into an Atget based theme. In other words, it means that everything is based on architecture and Victorian style buildings.

Group photos part 2

We took portraits of our peers while trying to imitate their own style in the shot.
Gabe's photos has a lot of motion in them and generally were shot in color.
Haley's photos were usually taken in front of doors and had a lot of color in the shot.

Richie's photos incorporated a lot of greenery in the shot with an object usually found in the background or foreground.

Sami's photos had a lot of mirrors in them and were taken from interesting angles.

Group photos first six

In this assignment we had to take pictures of our peers while using the same style that they seemed to use throughout the year.
Corts photos had a stalker vibe to them.  Large differences in contrast are apparent in his photos as well as interesting angles they are taken from.

Isaiah's photos had a streety feel to them and had a large amounts of shadows.  Symmetry is also commonly seen in his photos.

Keila also has a streety feel to her pohtos and are usually bustling with activity and movement.

Max imitated the style of Richard Avedon.  The contrast between black and whites are high and the model tries to look as natural as possible.

Rosie's portraits were similar to Max's.  Her photos however had a smaller contrast between lights and darks.

Zach's photos were usually taken in sepia and had depth in them.

Microworlds Draft 4

In this assignment I focused on creating a story with my characters in real-world environments.  Before I tended to make staged set-ups for the toys to be in but this time I decided to combine the story telling technique with a setting that makes them interact with real-sized objects.
